Design Proposal
Inspiration also came from Bauhaus costume design. Bauhaus, an early 20th Century art school, was also influenced by machinery and movement of machines and the body, and costume design, is central to the development of the concept for this project.

Inspiration
Design inspiration came from looking at paintings from Futurism, an early 20th Century movement in art exploring movement and the rise of the machine age. The repeated shapes create visual movement, and the strong lines and curves also suggesting motion.
