Finally, the drawings are complete and ready for the steel to be laser cut. This shows the front, and then the back of the sculpture. From base to centre point is approximately 180cms, to ensure a wide visibility from the station platform and the entrance to the station from Freeport Shopping Village. 6mm mild steel, white powder coated for all parts, apart from the train wheel in 4mm satin stainless steel. In part, it has been designed to be assembled by hand on site. In the next few weeks, all of the pieces will be delivered to our studio, where we will assemble the work before it arrives on site.
